1.When we watch movies about the future,we sometimes see robots.Yhey are usually like human servants.They help with the housework and do jobs like working in dirty or dangerous places.
2.Today there are already robots working in factories.Some can help to build cars,and they do simple jobs over and over again.Fewer people will do such jobs in the future because they are boring,but robots will never get bored.
3.Scientists are now trying to make robots things as we do.Some robots in Japan can walk and dance.They are fun to watch.However.some scientists believe that although we can make robots move like people,it will be diffcult to lake them really think like a human.For example,scientist James White thinks that robots will never be able to wake up and know where they are.But many scientists disagree with Mr.White They think that robots will even be able to tale like humans in 25 to 50years.
4.Some scientists believe that there will be more robots in future,However,they agree it may take hundreds of years.These new robots will have many different shapes.Some will look like humans,and others might look like animals.In India,for example,scentists nade robots that look like building fall down with people inaide,these snake robots can help look for people under the buildings,This was not possible 20years ago,but computers and rockets also seemd impossible 100 years ago.We never konw what will happen in the future!

（1）be able to 用于表能力，并可用于多种时态和非谓语动词短语，而can只有一般现在时和一般过去时两种时态。
（2）can可用于人或物作主语的句子中；而be able to 的主语只能够；be able to 更侧重于“克服一定困难”、“经过努力”、“有能力”做成某事。

take后面常跟双宾语，如：
it takes sb.+时间+to do sth.

pay 的基本用法是：
（1）pay(sb).money for sth.付钱（给某人）买……。例：
I have to pay them 20 pounds for this room each month.

（2）pay for sth.付……的钱。例：

我不得不赔丢失的书款。
（3）pay for sb.替某人付钱。例：
Don worry! I'll pay for you,

3.hundreds of 许多；大量
hundred 数词，‘百’，用于a、one 或含有数量意义的词之后，其后接可数名词的复数形式。
There are four hundred students in our grade.我们年级有400名学生。
当这类数词前面有具体的数字时，数词复数形式。如：
We have more than five hundred this kind of books.
我们有500多本这种书。

a vew hundred 几百
类似的数词还有thousand,million,当数词前没有具体数字时，数词用复数形式，后面接短语，再加可数名词的复数形式。
